“Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.” Isaiah 30:26
Def of stroke: ”A stroke is an interruption of the blood supply to any part of the brain. A stroke is sometimes called a “brain attack.” (Healthline-ADAM)
There are times during trials and testings that we cannot ‘feel, hear, see or use any of our 5 senses to know that God is with us. Bills piled up, or perhaps like so many job release, sickness, stress any and everywhere. Many are facing foreclosures, repossessions and to the Christian they may ask “Where Is God?” Where is God during this Storm, where is God in the midst of this storm. We cannot move forward, and can’t go back, we are immobile, the trial has seemed to disconnect us from the spiritual lifeline the blood supply of our heavenly Father. It is as if we are having a Spiritual Stroke! We are paralized, can’t go forward, have no further virtue left to do anything….
If you were like me I stood still this week, couldn’t sense deliverance with any of my 5 senses. It ‘seems’ like God was far away somewhere, I ‘felt’ disconnected. There was One thing which sustained me. I know and trust God’s word as absolute in my life. I woke up this morning yet waiting to hear a word of encouragement from God…anything and this is the scripture given me I share it with you, it is a word of prophetic empowerment.
“Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.” Isaiah 30:26
These trials were are enduring will yield a glorius testimony of God’s power if we continue to trust regardless of what our ‘senses’ tell us, but stand on God’s word.
“Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you.But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.” I Peter 4:13(NIV)
Hold on my friend, my sister, my daughter, fellow laborer with Christ, hold on.
